My name is Michael Fruchter. I’m a 31 year old marketing professional focusing on social media, with over a decade of experience working on the Internet. I wear many hats both on the business and technical side. I love technology, digital media and anything that resides at a dot com address. My focus is specifically on the ways we use the Internet for consumer engagement, marketing, branding, and spreading an individual or business  brand awareness. In other words, by getting the word out there positively, using any and all means necessary in social media. I also like to focus on the tools and applications,that help us effectively use and leverage our staying power, relevance, and recognition.

When I first got involved on the Web in 1997, I was heavily involved in email marketing, SEO, traffic generation and traffic brokerage. My passion is about the technologies behind social media and how business and individuals can benefit from them. I stay very active with self promotion, social bookmarking, social networking, focusing and experimenting on my own personal branding by using this blog and domain name.

People, great ideas , and new shiny toys inspire me. I think a few words that describe me are, dedicated, analytical, loyal, funny, and an out of the box thinker.

One standard that I live by and practice is promoting others, even more than I promote myself!
